The new Cadillac CT4 is one of Cadillac’s most anticipated models this year. Replacing the Cadillac ATS, the Cadillac CT4 is the most accessible vehicle in the Cadillac family without compromising the comfort and refinement expected from a Cadillac luxury sedan. Here are three things to know about the new Cadillac CT4.
It Will Be Offered for Under $40,000
The new Cadillac CT4 is expected in 2019 and will be the most affordable sedan in the Cadillac lineup, even though it is the most modern. The new CT4 is spacious, equipped with advanced technologies and refined, but its starting price is expected to be under $40,000.
It Will Be Powered by a Turbocharged Engine and a 10-Speed Transmission
The standard engine in the new Cadillac CT4 will be a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder producing 237 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. This engine will be paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, an exclusive feature in the compact luxury sedan segment. All-wheel drive will be available, and we expect to see three versions of the CT4: Luxury, Premium Luxury and Sport. Each version will undoubtedly receive different styling elements to clearly distinguish the models.
A Cadillac CT4-V Will Also Be Offered
The Cadillac CT4-V will also be available with a very powerful turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 320 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. This will be enough to reach 100 km/h in less than 5.0 seconds and, unlike the previous generation Cadillac ATS, the CT4-V will be available with all-wheel drive. We do not yet have the official price of the Cadillac CT4-V, but we expect it to be around $50,000.
